More Than Brain Training.

A 12-week, whole-person cognitive rehabilitation program for life beyond brain injury.

Brain injury can change far more than memory or attention. It can affect how you communicate, create, work, maintain relationships, organize your life, manage your energy, trust yourself, and experience the world around you.

My 12-week Life Beyond Brain Injury Program is a comprehensive, individualized cognitive rehabilitation experience that brings together my expertise as a Speech-Language Pathologist and Brain Injury Specialist with a body-based, somatic approach to recovery.

Together, we work with your brain, body, and nervous system as an interconnected whole—supporting neuroplasticity while strengthening the cognitive, communication, and relational abilities that help you participate more fully in your life.

We don't simply ask your brain to work harder. We create the conditions for learning, adaptation, and change—and build from there.

Comprehensive rehabilitation for the whole person.

Brain injury rarely affects just one area of life. That's why the program isn't limited to a single cognitive skill or a collection of brain-training exercises.

Over 12 weeks, your program is personalized around the areas that matter most to you, including:

Attention & Focus
Strengthening your ability to sustain, shift, and manage attention while understanding how fatigue, overwhelm, and nervous-system state influence your capacity to focus.

Memory & Learning
Developing practical strategies for learning, organizing, storing, and retrieving information—and applying those strategies to everyday life.

Executive Function
Building skills for planning, organization, initiation, problem-solving, flexibility, decision-making, and following through on what matters.

Communication & Social Connection
Supporting the cognitive and social-communication skills involved in conversation, relationships, reading social cues, expressing yourself, and staying connected with others.

Relationships
Exploring how brain injury has affected the way you relate to yourself and the people around you, while building greater capacity for communication, connection, and participation.

Creativity & Cognitive Flexibility
Creating opportunities for curiosity, imagination, flexible thinking, self-expression, and the parts of cognition that help life feel expansive rather than simply manageable.

And woven throughout all of this is the somatic lens that makes my approach different.

Work with your nervous system. Engage your brain.

After brain injury, cognition doesn't exist separately from physiology.

Fatigue, stress, sensory overload, and nervous-system state can influence how available attention, memory, communication, and executive function feel from one moment to the next.

Through Somatic Experiencing® and other body-based practices, you'll learn to notice and work with your physiology rather than continually pushing through it.

As greater regulation and capacity develop, we pair those shifts with individualized cognitive rehabilitation—giving your brain repeated opportunities to learn, adapt, practice new strategies, and strengthen new patterns through neuroplasticity.

Your brain and body become partners in the work.

Learn how to work with yourself.

One of the most powerful things you can develop after brain injury is a deeper understanding of your own system.

You'll begin recognizing what helps you feel clear and connected, what happens when you become overwhelmed or depleted, and what helps you return.

You'll discover which cognitive strategies actually work for your brain—and how to use them when life becomes more demanding.

Rather than leaving therapy with a collection of exercises, my goal is for you to develop something far more useful:

Your own internal map for navigating life beyond brain injury.

Build capacity for real life.

Everything we do ultimately comes back to your life.

Following a conversation without becoming depleted. Remembering what matters. Organizing a demanding day. Returning to meaningful work. Navigating relationships. Creating. Traveling. Being present with someone you love. Trying something that once felt beyond your capacity.

We bring what you're learning into these real-life experiences and continue adapting your strategies as your capacity grows.

Because the most meaningful cognitive gains aren't measured only by what happens during therapy.

They're measured by what becomes possible outside of it.

In Saratoga and online.

I'm based in Saratoga, California, where I offer in-person sessions for local clients.

I also work with clients online, making the Life Beyond Brain Injury Program accessible beyond the immediate Saratoga area when telepractice is appropriate and permitted.

Whether we meet in person or virtually, the program remains individualized, relational, and grounded in your goals, your nervous system, and the life you want to build.

There is more possible after brain injury.

Recovery doesn't have to mean becoming exactly who you were before your injury—or never struggling again.

It can mean developing a new relationship with your brain and body. Building new pathways. Strengthening your ability to think, communicate, create, and connect. Rebuilding confidence in yourself. And discovering possibilities you may not be able to see yet.

More clarity. More capacity. More creativity. More connection. More confidence. More life.

This isn't simply about managing life after brain injury.

It's about building the capacity to live it.
